We hope you are all doing well as the summer heat lingers.
On Saturday, August 16th, we held the Dotonbori Bon Odori International 2025. Despite the intense heat and concerns about heatstroke, thanks to everyone's participation, the event was more successful than usual and extremely exciting.
Just as we were feeling relieved at the success of the Bon Odori, a fire broke out in a building facing the Tonbori Riverwalk on Monday, August 18th. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of two precious lives while fighting the fire. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty.
We take this accident very seriously and have once again asked all our members to take thorough fire prevention measures.
Although the calendar indicates that it is autumn, the intense heat is still continuing. Please take good care of yourselves.
