We hope this message finds you well and thriving as the lingering summer heat continues.

We are pleased to report that the "Dotonbori Bon Odori International 2026" was held on Saturday, August 8th. Despite concerns regarding the intense heat and potential for heatstroke, the event—thanks to everyone's cooperation—was a resounding success, drawing even larger crowds than in previous years and generating great excitement, including an encore performance.
Please also note that the "Myaku-Myaku" monument and the lanterns from the Manto-sai Festival, which had been displayed in Dotonbori, are scheduled for removal on August 31st. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the Dotonbori Shopping District to participate in this summer's various events.
Meanwhile, across the country, we continue to see extreme weather conditions and natural disasters. We offer our deepest sympathies to those affected by these events and pray for a swift recovery.
Although the calendar marks the arrival of autumn, the heat remains intense. We urge you to take good care of your health during this time.
