We had been concerned about a decline in visitor numbers to Dotonbori Shopping Street after the Expo ended, but fortunately, we have seen almost no impact, with many customers visiting every day.
Furthermore, as November began, we had feared a decline in visitors due to international tensions (especially reports of a worsening relationship between Japan and China in connection with the Taiwan emergency), but at this point we have not confirmed a significant decline in customers.
On November 15th, we held the annual "Dotonbori Riverside Stage 2025" at Namba Square. The event featured energetic music and dancing by kids, followed by a relaxed enjoyment of traditional culture, creating a stage where new and old cultures intersected.
We also actively carried out various activities, such as the "Minami Beppin Project," the "Store Managers' Association," and the "Ebisubashi-Dotonbori Police Box Liaison Meeting."
In December, we plan to hold our annual "Year-End Crime and Disaster Prevention Night Patrol."
There are only a few days left in the year. There are also signs of an influenza epidemic. Everyone please take care of yourselves.
